School Life
IT Helpdesk
The IT Helpdesk is open Mondays to Fridays, 8:30am - 3:30pm and is located on the ground floor of the Tony Stopher Library and Information Centre (entrance on the Secondary Quadrangle side).
Students can visit at any time, with the permission of their teacher if during a class. Alternatively, please email service requests through to it@stmarks.wa.edu.au.
If your child experiences an issue, they may request a loan laptop while their device is being repaired. (Conditions apply.)
The IT Helpdesk is also open during School Holidays and students can email support requests through to the IT Team. Please call 9403 1383 before visiting, as most queries can be resolved over the phone.
If you have an HP laptop purchased through the School's HP Portal, including Accidental Damage Protection Cover, you can liaise with the IT Helpdesk or call HP directly on 13 10 47. You will need the serial number located on the laptop. If you are not sure whether your HP device is still under warranty and/or accidental damage protection, you can check your status here.
Please note that the IT Helpdesk does not provide support for devices purchased independently of the School's HP Portal.
New students and/or students with new devices
On Orientation Days and during the first weeks of Term, students are provided support in setting up everything they will need in preparation for learning.
Recommended Devices
All students in Years 9 to 12 provide their own device (i.e. laptop) through the BYOD program.
