We Did It!

We are excited to announce a remarkable achievement from the Secondary Schools Open Water Swimming Championships held at Coogee Beach! Over 30 of our students participated in this thrilling event, showcasing their skills and determination in various distances, including 250m, 500m, and 1km, as well as competing in the 4 x 250m relay.

Our team was filled with enthusiasm as they aimed to build on last year's success, and they certainly delivered! Their outstanding performances earned us the prestigious title of Champion School, a significant accomplishment considering the competition included schools from all across Western Australia.

The athletes particularly shone in the relay events, with more than half of our teams finishing in the top three of their respective age categories. Additionally, we celebrated impressive individual results, including a first-place finish and four third-place awards! Congratulations to the following individual competitors on their places:

  • Lachlan Bean 1st
  • Jurgens Wilson 3rd
  • Beau Stockden 3rd
  • Ini Bueddemann 3rd
  • Anzu Haywood 3rd

A special thank you goes out to our dedicated staff members—Mrs Humble, Ms Lee, Ms Gorham, and Mr Teo—for their unwavering support throughout the day. Your encouragement made a tremendous difference and contributed to our swimmers' success.

We look forward to building on this success in future competitions!
