Senior CAS Report - Term 2 Finals

It was a tough finals comp for our Senior Teams with some wins and losses.

Netball: Our Senior team faced a tough match against Mater Dei, who had several high-level players. Despite their valiant effort, our team fell short and missed out on the grand final. Nevertheless, they have a credible playoff for third place on Tuesday against Peter Moyes.

Soccer: What a game! Our girls, travelling to Prendeville and missing some key players, faced an uphill battle. We scored first, but they quickly equalized. The pattern repeated in the second half: we took the lead, and they equalized again. With the game tied at the end of regulation, it went to penalties. In a nerve-wracking shootout, our girls triumphed 3-2, advancing to the grand final! A thrilling match awaits on Tuesday against the formidable Irene McCormack. Good luck, girls!

Boys' Soccer: Our boys battled hard in a shootout but lost 4-2 to Mater Dei. Despite playing well, the absence of their keeper allowed Mater Dei to score four goals, concluding their gallant campaign.
