da Vinci Decathlon Success!

What a triumph we had at the da Vinci Decathlon!

Our Year 5-10 teams showcased exceptional talent at the state competition hosted at UWA in March. Our teams truly shone, bringing home three victories and a second-place finish.

A standout achievement was our Year 7 team securing 1st place, a remarkable feat given the tough competition. This outstanding win has earned them the prestigious chance to represent Western Australia at the national finals in Sydney this June, hosted at Knox Grammar.

The da Vinci Decathlon, known for its rigorous academic challenges, saw our students in teams of eight demonstrating their problem-solving skills across ten disciplines. This year's event attracted between 28-34 schools at the various age competitions, including independent, state, and Catholic institutions, showcasing a high level of competition.

Key accolades from the event include:

Year 7:

  • 1st - Art and Poetry
  • 1st - Cartography
  • 2nd - Science

Year 6:

  • 1st - Creative Producers

Congratulations to all our dedicated team members for their exemplary performance!
