Continuing the Conversation: Career Insights for Our Students

During Week 7, we had the pleasure of continuing the conversation with our Year 10-12 students during our latest Career Conversations event. We were fortunate to welcome three members of the St Mark’s community: Old Scholars Simon Maloney (1993) and Ron Mitchell (1991), along with current parent Phil Gooch, who shared their expertise in the Marine/Maritime, Mining, and Engineering sectors.

Simon, Ron, and Phil provided invaluable insights into their industries, offering personal experiences and highlighting the diverse opportunities available in these exciting fields. The feedback from our students was overwhelmingly positive, with many feeling more informed and confident about their future career decisions.
