Celebrating our Academic Achievers
Recently, our School celebrated the achievements of the Class of 2024 at the Academic Achievers Assembly. The event highlighted the outstanding successes of our recent graduates and provided a platform for alumni to share their experiences and advice.
The Class of 2024 achieved a median ATAR of 85.10, demonstrating their dedication to their studies. Notable achievements included:
- 1 General Exhibition
- 2 Subject Certificates of Excellence in Health Studies and Psychology
- 9 Certificates of Distinction

- 56 VET Certificates (15 Certificate II and 31 Certificate III or higher)
- 41 students secured University entry through the Uni Ready course
A highlight of the assembly was hearing from our alumni about their plans for the future and their advice for current students. Taleisha Butler shared valuable insights on tackling Year 12, emphasising the importance of finding balance, seeking help when needed, and choosing subjects that spark genuine interest. She encouraged students to fully immerse themselves in their studies and commit to showing up consistently.
Sam Branigan, who followed a VET pathway, advised students to pursue their passions and seize opportunities to improve their skillsets. He highlighted the importance of building connections, noting that this approach can lead to unexpected and rewarding career paths.
Our graduates' diverse achievements reflect the range of educational pathways we offer, from traditional academics to vocational training. This variety helps students find the best fit for their strengths and aspirations.
We congratulate our High Achievers on their outstanding results and wish them well in their future endeavours. Their achievements inspire current and future students, demonstrating the potential for success through hard work and choosing pathways that align with personal interests.
The Academic Achievers Assembly celebrated the Class of 2024's successes and reinforced the value of perseverance and following one's passions. As these graduates move forward, we are confident that the skills, knowledge, and experiences gained during their time at our school will serve them well in their future academic and professional pursuits.
