CAS Sport Results - Term 1, Round 1

Round 1 v Lake Joondalup Baptist College

CAS Sport is officially underway. However, this Term, we see it changed up with only our students in Years 7-9 competing in the weekly fixtures and those students in Years 10-12 participating in a carnival-styled event later in the Term.

This week's fixture saw our teams battle against Lake Joondalup Baptist College and come away with seven wins from eight games. What a fabulous start to our CAS Sport season!

The results are as follows:

Indoor Cricket / Indoor Beach Volleyball: Two great games with our teams competing strongly for two convincing wins.

Boys Basketball: Two out of three wins was great, with our Year 7s and 9s getting the wins. The 9s were very impressive on the defensive end. Our 8s lost a thriller but are working hard at training.

Girls Basketball – Our Year 7 Girls showed great sportsmanship by modifying their defence to try to even the game but they still kept scoring to take a big lead and win the match.
The game of the round was our Year 9 girls, who had a real battle; down by five points with 90 seconds to go, Sadie and Ashlyn scored important three-pointers to steal a one-point win. Way to go, girls!
