CAS Report - Term 2, Week 1

CAS sport started this week with our Seniors Playing on Thursday against Peter Moyes Anglican Community School. It was a perfect start, as all four teams won! The Juniors completed their last trials and are ready for their first game next Wednesday.

AFL – Boys WIN 5-7 (37) – 5-5(35)

The boys travelled up to Peter Moyes with a mix of Year 10s, 11s and 12s. They started strongly and fought off a large charge from the opposition to win by two points. The team was led by Luker Kentfield (two goals), who plays Senior WAFL for Subiaco on the weekend. Other players to have an impact was Jett and Thatcher (two goals)

Soccer – Boys WIN 6-0

What a win, the boys gelled well in their first game with a mix of year groups. Mrs Clayton is a highly credentialled coach who had the boys well organised, resulting in them being too strong for Peter Moyes.

Soccer – Girls WIN Forfeit

Unfortunately, PMACS forfeited the game, so the girls ran an extra training session instead to be ready for next Tuesday!

Netball – Girls WIN 47-42

A tight match throughout, with scores tied until we pulled away following some important intercepts. The best for the team were Maya, Chloe and Holly. Coach Berghan was proud of the girls' resilience in a tight contest!
