CAS Grand Final Results

What a wonderful conclusion to our junior CAS season.

An amazing six grand finals with an incredible four wins!

Our Year 9 Girls Netball team continued their three-year winning streak and, although challenged late, beat Prendiville. The Year 8 Girls Netball team had a bigger challenge against the Mater Dei team, who had beaten them during the regular season. Mrs Bakalis's extra training paid off as their game plan successfully was executed, and they came home with the win. The next grand final success was another of our talented girls' teams, our 8/9 Girls Soccer team, who again beat a Mater Dei team that they had struggled against in the past. Mrs McManus had all her soldiers on the pitch, which helped them to a 5-3 victory!

On Thursday, our Year 7 AFL Boys caused the upset of the century with a stirring win against the formerly undefeated Mater Dei (specialist School). Led by Fletcher and a cast of energetic players, they held them off to win by two goals.

Commiserations to our Year 7 Girls Netball Teams who gave everything in their respective games to narrowly go down against high-quality opposition. In the Seniors, our Netball girls narrowly lost to Peter Moyes in a seesawing match losing by two. Likewise, our Senior Boys Soccer finished their season with a commendable two-goal loss to Peter Moyes.
