Boranup Expedition
“Tough times don’t last, tough people do.”
It is incredibly rewarding to witness the “predictable” growth of students in a somewhat “unpredictable” expedition environment.
Our recent five-day Year 10 Outdoor Adventure Studies (OAS) expedition to Boranup marked a significant milestone in our students' OAS journey, serving as both a culmination of their experiences and a gateway to their Year 11 and 12 pathways. This expedition consistently equips students with essential life skills that cannot be replicated in a traditional classroom setting, preparing them for future success.
Throughout the expedition, students engaged in various activities that fostered resilience, teamwork, and personal growth. The challenges they faced not only enhanced their outdoor skills but also deepened their understanding of themselves and their capabilities. As they navigate these unique experiences, they develop critical skills that will serve them well beyond their time at school.
We look forward to seeing how these lessons will shape our students as they continue their educational journey into the senior years.
