Tuition Fees

St Mark’s, a School of the Anglican Schools Commission, is a non-profit organisation which exists to provide an affordable, independent education. The School’s fee structure aligns with the Anglican Schools Commission's principles of being a low-fee paying school, with fees being the minimum possible to provide the difference between income provided by way of Commonwealth and State grants and the essential expenditure of teaching, administration and facility updates and maintenance.

Useful Information

Annual accounts are emailed to the account holder's nominated email address at the commencement of each school year. Families may choose how to make fee payments to best suit their family needs. This includes options to pay upfront in full, or to pay quarterly, monthly or fortnightly across the year. No discounts are offered for early payment. Payments can be made by Direct Debit, EFTPOS, cheque, or credit cards (a 1% surcharge applies to credit card payments). A Payment Option Nomination Form must be completed by each family to advise the payment option they have chosen. Families nominating a payment frequency of monthly or fortnightly must authorise the School to debit payments from the family’s nominated bank or credit card account.

St Mark's Tuition Fee Assistance Plan

The St Mark’s Tuition Fee Assistance Plan was introduced to assist families who may experience financial challenges due to unforeseen personal and economic circumstances. All School families are able to approach the School in confidence at any time to enquire and/or request support through the Tuition Fee Assistance Plan. The School will also be willing to consider arrangements for alternate payment plans during short-term financial difficulties.

Once the School has received a request for possible assistance, a confidential appointment will be set up with the Business Manager to discuss the family’s personal circumstances. Following this meeting, a formal request for support may be submitted, at which time the family may be required to provide supporting documentation in order to fulfil a means test.

A decision on a request for support will be made as quickly as possible, and an appropriate Assistance Plan will be set up for the family. The Tuition Fee Assistance Plan will be reviewed annually.

If you would like more information on the St Mark’s Tuition Fee Assistance Plan, please download and complete this form and submit it to the School via email to businessmanager@stmarks.wa.edu.au or in a sealed envelope addressed to the Business Manager and marked as confidential.
