Enrolment
Enrol My Child
St Mark's Anglican Community School provides opportunities for all through an extraordinary educational experience. We value every student, staff member, and community member and appreciate your interest in joining our vibrant community.
We believe that every child has unique interests and talents. Our comprehensive programs cater to a wide range of abilities and aspirations, ensuring that there is an opportunity for every student to thrive.
Enrolment Intake Years
St Mark’s is a Kindergarten to Year 12 School, with enrolment intake years at Kindergarten, Year 2, Year 4 and Year 6. While enrolments for other year groups are rare, occasional places do become available.
We accept Expressions of Interest from birth and your child will remain in our Waiting Pool until the enrolment process for your desired year of entry begins.
Important Enrolment Note
Please be aware that places at St Mark’s are highly sought after. Not all families who submit an Expression of Interest or Application will secure a place at our School. A new application is required for entry to another year group should a family decline an offer. In this instance families are not guaranteed another offer. Families who receive an offer for a place at St Mark's are encouraged to accept it, as offers cannot be deferred to later years.

Enrolment Process
1. Enquiry
Initial enquiries are to be directed to the Enrolments Office by emailing us at enrol@stmarks.wa.edu.au or by calling us on (08) 9403 1300.
2. Expression of Interest
Submitting an Expression of Interest is the first stage of our enrolment process and is required to obtain a place in the Waiting Pool. Part of the Expression of Interest will entail creating a profile in our online enrolment platform. All enrolment tasks, communications and information regarding enrolment will take place through this portal.
Basic parent and student information is collected through the Expression of Interest form and you will be required to upload a copy of the students birth certificate during this stage.
Click here to submit an Expression of Interest.
3. Waiting Pool
Once our Enrolments team has verified the information collected through the Expression of Interest, prospective families will be placed in our Waiting Pool until the enrolment process for your desired year of entry commences.
While in the Waiting Pool, families can expect to receive regular communications from the School, including an annual request to update your details and confirm your intention to retain your place in the Waiting Pool.
Prospective families who are unsuccessful in being offered a place for their desired entry year will be returned to the Waiting Pool to wait for the enrolment process for their next intake year to commence.
4. Tour of the School
Prospective families in the Waiting Pool will be invited to attend a Sub-School specific School Tour before the enrolment process for their desired year of entry commences. All School Tour invitations will be sent by email.
Places on School Tours are limited, and prospective families are encouraged to book a place on a School Tour promptly after receiving an invitation.
5. Application
Prospective families in the Waiting Pool who have attended a School Tour will be invited to submit an online application for enrolment approximately two years before the commencement of their desired entry year.
The application window will be open for a period of four weeks and families applying for a place are encouraged to submit their application promptly after receiving an invitation to apply.
Submitting an application incurs a non-refundable application fee of $50.00
Please Note: St Mark’s experiences high volumes of applications and available places are limited. Therefore, not all families who submit an application will be offered a place at the School for their child.
All unsuccessful applicants will be returned to the Waiting Pool to await the commencement of the enrolment process for their next intake year.
6. Interview
Successful applicants will be invited to attend a formal enrolment interview with the Head or Deputy Head of their desired Sub-School. The interview is an opportunity for the Head/Deputy Head of School to get to know your family and for your family to learn more about St Mark’s, so you can decide if our School is the right fit for your child.
Prospective parents and the applicant are required to attend the interview.
7. Offer
Following a successful Enrolment Interview, prospective families will receive a letter of offer for a place at St Mark’s. To accept and confirm the place, parents are required to sign the letter of offer, accept the St Mark’s Terms of Enrolment and pay the Enrolment Deposit of $2503.00.
The enrolment deposit is only payable once per family, non-refundable and not deducted from future tuition fees.
8. Onboarding and Commencement
Once a place has been accepted, families can look forward to receiving regular communications from the School regarding their onboarding, orientation and commencement.
9. Unsuccessful Applicants and Declined Offers
Once the enrolment process for each intake year concludes, all unsuccessful applicants and families that have declined an offer for a place will be placed back into the Waiting Pool to await the commencement of the enrolment process for the next intake year. Families who decline an offer cannot defer their offer to another year and will be required to submit a new application for their desired year of entry when enrolments commence for that intake year.
Conditions of Enrolment
Parental Participation
At St Mark's, our bond with parents and friends is what sets us apart! For years, our St Mark's Parents and Friends' Association has been the heartbeat of our community, tirelessly supporting the school's growth and nurturing a strong sense of community.
We believe in the power of teamwork and involvement. That's why we've created the Community Participation Program, fondly known as 'Parent Commitment Hours,' under the caring guidance of the St Mark's Parents and Friends' Association.
When you join our St Mark's family, you're not just enrolling your child — you're becoming a vital part of our mission to achieve spiritual and educational excellence. Your active participation isn't just welcomed; it's essential. We ask each family to dedicate a minimum of 10 hours per year to volunteering within our vibrant community.
The opportunities to contribute are endless! Whether you're lending a hand at school-based events or providing practical support directly to the school, every moment you give enriches our collective experience.
We've made it easy for you to track your contributions. Just log your hours through our convenient online system here. And while we cherish your time and effort, we understand life gets busy. If, for any reason, you're unable to meet the volunteer commitment, there's a nominal fee of $330, which helps us sustain the invaluable programs and initiatives powered by our dedicated community.

St Mark’s hosts School Tours in Terms 1, 2 and 3. Prospective families who have submitted an Expression of Interest and are currently in the Waiting Pool will be invited to attend.

Please submit an Expression of Interest through our website to be eligible for an invitation to attend a School tour.
