Fathering Project's POSTMEN
At St Mark's we value the involvement of dads and father-figures in the lives of our students. The "P.O.S.T.M.E.N." (Papas of ST Mark's Engagement Network) is a group of dads who get involved in events and activities organised by a volunteer committee, as a School Chapter of 'The Fathering Project'.
Activities are heaps of fun and provide the chance for fathers to bond with their kids and to meet other dads at the School. We welcome all fathers and father-figures along to events, including uncles, grandfathers, and other male mentors. Events that have been run in the past include barbecues, campouts, parent quiz nights, billy kart racing competitions, and dads' social catch-ups.
You can keep up-to-date with the latest events by liking the POSTMEN Facebook page St Mark's Fathering Project POSTMEN and dads can join the group officially via The Fathering Project's POSTMEN sign up. Photos and videos of events are published on the POSTMEN Facebook page or the St Mark's Facebook page. Take a look at a video montage of the 2022 Campout video here.
We are very grateful for the POSTMEN Committee legends who volunteer their time to collaborate behind the scenes and organise these fantastic events for our community of dads!
